When to book the workshop?
You should leave at least a month between the workshop and the wedding date. If you are thinking of engraving, plating or stone setting, you should leave at least two months to avoid stress and additional fees for speedy services.
How to choose materials?
There are three factors to consider: COLOUR, BUDGET and DURABILITY. Chose the one which is the most important for you to start with and this will be a natural transition to the next step.
What availability do you have?
We usually run workshops on Saturdays 10:00am - 4:00pm. However, other days of the week can be arranged for.
How much will it cost?
It all depends on the amount and materials used. For an estimate please email us with a short description or a photo of the design you are thinking of. It should include the material, its profile, dimensions, as well as your ring size, e.g. 9ct red gold, round cross-section, 2mm diameter or 18ct yellow gold, D shape cross-section 3 x 6mm .
An average pair of silver wedding rings including the workshop fee and your materials will cost around £350. A pair of 9ct gold rings will cost between £450-700 whike a pair of 18ct gold rings usually costs around £750-1200.
What if we want the rings to be made of different materials?
If you would like to have platinum or palladium rings, they will be made in silver during the workshop and cast later in the metal of your choice. Additional charges for the casting and materials will apply.
Can the rings be engraved?
Yes, it can be arranged for after the workshop. As above additional charges will apply.
How do we book a place?
Just email us with your preferred dates, materials and ring ideas. There is a £150 deposit, which is non-returnable unless the workshops is cancelled by us.
Can I book a workshop for somebody?
Yes, we do sell gift vouchers, which are valid for a year from the date of purchase.
